Chicago Unplugged is an edgy behind the scenes program that showcases all things notable and new in the Windy City From restaurants and lounges to unique events, food and lifestyle personality and host, D.C. Crenshaw, is the first on the scene, giving you an inside look into the latest happenings. D.C. hangs with some of his favorite celebrities and scours the city for the hottest places to indulge when it comes to the hidden gems of the dining experience. Chicago Unplugged is the quintessential show that keeps Chicagoans in the know.
About the host: D.C. Crenshaw is the founder and President of Fête, the “World’s Premier Dining Network”, an event company that showcases the newest and best restaurants in Chicago via progressive dining. After generating buzz in the social event community, D.C. was consistently tagged to host and promote other social, charitable and political events throughout the city. D.C. started a grassroots word of mouth networking campaign that collectively generated an enormous distribution list of thousands of emails both socially and professionally. D.C. and Fête became notorious for attracting and hosting the most unique and diverse events in Chicago.
D.C. was Creator, Executive Producer and Co-Host of the Emmy nominated TV show Game Time Dine, interviewing some of Chicago’s professional athletes, including Israel Idonije of the Chicago Bears, Adam Burish formerly of the Blackhawks and Taj Gibson of the Bulls. The show aired regionally on Comcast Sportsnet and featured D.C and his guests cooking, tasting and critiquing cuisine while discussing sports.
